WagWorks offers 1:1 training sessions, for both members and non-members, in the form of a home consultation to get a full picture of the situation at hand. We will spend essential time working with you and your dog to get to the root cause of any unwanted behaviour or training issues, rather than just addressing the symptoms.
We will then establish next steps to making progress and provide a tailored plan suited to individual needs. It can be common that pain or ill health is a factor towards behavioural issues, so if in any doubt, we will work with our in-house vet to ensure that any health problems are diagnosed and treated before embarking on a training programme, which is crucial for the welfare of the dog and a happy outcome.
We’re lucky enough to have dog behaviourist Winkie Spiers to head up this service, with over 20 years’ experience in dog training and education to inspire our team and members. Winkie has also been with us on the WagWorks journey since the beginning, acting as a mentor and offering valued guidance to dogs and humans alike.

Dog parenting essentials
We encourage all our members to be curious, and stay curious, about their dog. Only by ongoing learning will we gain a continuous and deeper understanding of our dogs. Our members have full access to a programme of events and in-house masterclasses covering different themes, which equip them with the confidence and knowledge they need to nurture the partnership between owner and dog, and to ensure that their dogs live long, happy and fulfilling lives. Our educational programme is based only on the latest thinking and kind, ethical science.

All relationships benefit from better communication, and it’s often the small effective changes and good habits that make the real difference. There might be one recurring thing that you can’t seem to get on top of, or a few things – we want to know exactly where you and your dog struggle to communicate. Our dog carers will help implement a plan for both the home and daycare environment, to ensure we’re working in harmony towards your goals. *Prices on application.
