#About the event
Puppyhood is an exciting time, but it can also come with plenty of questions if unprepared! Our Puppy Class is designed to help you understand your puppy, build a strong relationship and give them the confidence and skills they need to thrive in the city.
Led by our expert team, each session combines practical training, positive socialisation and guidance on your puppy’s wellbeing and behaviour – giving you the knowledge and confidence to support them every step of the way.
Session format:
- 4 weekly sessions across 4 weeks at WagWorks Fulham, with a graduation celebration a few weeks later!
- Tuesdays, 7:30pm – 8:45pm
- Small group classes with personalised support
- Next class starting at WagWorks Fulham on Tuesday 22nd September
- For puppies no more than 6 months old
- Ticket cost: £200
#What we’ll cover
#Session 1: The Essentials
Understand the foundations of puppy wellbeing, including sleep, nutrition, enrichment, house training, body language and common puppy behaviours such as chewing and licking. This session gives you the knowledge and understanding you need to set your puppy up for success from day one.
#Session 2: The Skills
Join Stephen, our Head of Daycare & Animal Management at WagWorks Fulham, who brings more than 25 years of experience working with dogs. In this practical session, you’ll learn how to build reliable recall and loose lead walking through positive, reward-based training methods that work in the real world.
#Session 3: Confidence, Enrichment & Everyday Life Skills
An engaging, enrichment-led session where puppies safely explore a variety of sights, sounds, textures and experiences designed to build confidence and resilience. We’ll also introduce Wait and Stay – two valuable skills for navigating city life.
#Session 4: Bringing It All Together
We’ll put everything into practice, introducing door manners and revisiting the core skills you’ve learned over the past 4 weeks. By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence to continue your puppy’s learning journey at home and beyond.
#Session 5: Graduation
A few weeks after the course ends, we’ll invite you and your puppy back for a special graduation celebration. It’s a chance to reconnect with your classmates and our expert team, ask any questions you may have and enjoy more positively managed puppy socialisation time.
